DOG FRIENDLY WALKS
We've put together a few of our favourite dog hikes and walks around the UK. If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy the lovely weather check them out below...
1. Cheddar Gorge cliff walk, Somerset - A four-mile cliff trail where you will encounter stunning views and wildlife.
2. Llyn Padarn Circular, Llanberis, Wales - The five-mile circular trail is relatively easy and suitable for all the family.
3. Staithes and Port Mulgrave, North Yorkshire - A national trust trail with stunning views of the sea, quiet lanes, paths, and fields.
4. Delamere Forest, Cheshire - The park contains a number of trails to take the pooches on. There are lakes and picnic areas as well.

Overfeeding
Sadly over 50% of dogs in the UK are overweight. To ensure you don't find your dog in that statistic here's a few things you can do to help:
Make sure you are following feeding guidelines on your dog’s food packaging. It is important to do this. Use a kitchen scale and measuring cup so you can easily follow this.
Be sure to account for any extra treats they are given. A few extra bits of food and treats might not seem like a lot but, it can contribute massively to weight gain.
Keep your dog active. Dogs love to run and play, so let them! It is important they get their daily exercise to keep them happy and healthy.
Weight gain can impact all aspects of a dogs life. It is important they are an ideal weight to prevent mobility issues as they get older.

BESTVENN TIP #1 - DOG BOREDOM
It's 5pm and it's getting to that time, your dog wants to tip your house upside down... again. Why not purchase a long lasting chew like an antler or a yak? These chews are perfect for keeping dogs entertained for hours and also have great nutritional benefits.
Quick fix: Get a cupcake tray and place it on the floor. Put treats under each section and leave for your dog to find. Make sure you place the tray on carpet unless you want to hear what a bad band practice sounds like!
